Cyberpunk 2077

Very happy customer

I'm very happy running this on an i7-10700, 16gb, 2080super 8gb at 1080, all settings at max, but with chromatic aberation, film grain, and motion blur off. At first the graphics seemed soft, but after making those adjustments things look crisp and beautiful. Night City seems big and intersesting and there are good and bad parts of the city where the destitue and wealthy live. The story has been great, and easy to take a break from the main story-line to do some gigs or side quests. I started as a streetkid, thinking to only be a grunt with a gun but that quickly morphed into making a netrunner build, which is something I would not have chosen in other games. It allows me to take a stealthier approach and be able to go guns blazing if (in my case, when) things go wrong. Character progression is interesting, based on main stats, and the skill categories within each stat. For the first 30 hours of play, I wouldn't bother driving, just walk and find quick transport depots, but I recently bought a motorcycle and have been whizzing around the city. Controls take a little getting used to, and I've found that setting keys to my mouse does help with that a lot. Menus are easy to navigate once you used it a few times. Looking from an equipment slot filters items for that place and you can drop, break-down, or equip right there. If there is a total carried weight display, I haven't noticed it yet and you will get notified when you are over-encumbered. But, you're able to carry a decent amount before that happens, without needing to put points into that attribute. The one thing that impresses me is that when I'm not playing the game, I'm thinking about it, which I haven't been able to say about any game I've played in years. The Cyberpunk setting is what drew me to the game, and I've really been enjoying it.
