Bannerlord definitely strays from the previous games in many aspects. Many quality of life and immersion features are gone / yet to be developed. Singleplayer itself is enjoyable until you tire relatively quickly, it has a sense of being randomly generated moreso than the story-driven Warband. Even with mods, I wouldn't say the campaign or gameplay holds up that well. It does feel like a cheaper Unity engine sequel (story-wise prequel). Not to mention multiplayer, multiplayer is awful and you will dislike it despite getting many kills. I do get a sense of TaleWorlds team on social media being indifferent to the game and its fanbase despite the work put in so far. I wouldn't be surprised if it fizzles out of popularity in a few years, possibly because of the circumstances around its release not living up to the hype. Singeplayer : 6/10 Multiplayer : 3/10 (on a good day)
