I have been playing this game since it first came out in 99. This version seems to be nearly the same other than the cloud to save. I dont know if you need the internet to play but i would assume that you cannot play offline. to access the good map editor is other features just to the right of play. the button looks like two slide bars. This map editor lets you hand crete your own maps or alter existing maps.
