A thoroughly enjoyable twist on the traditional fishing sim. Add in a cast of quirky characters, a decent but somewhat short story & a healthy dose of mild horror & you get a unique experience with a surprising amount of gameplay. The 2000's scooby doo art style suits the game really well, minimalistic sound fuels the atmospheric tones & upgrading your own boat after finding the parts yourself is rather rewarding. The fishing itself can get a little repetitive but various aberations, trophy fish or simply a big haul keep it intersting. The whole game is actually very chill, until darkness falls!! Would definetely reccomend giving the game a shot if your on the fence
An excellent little game with an incredibly varied (if not slightly forgetful) cast of characters,. The pixel art is incredibly prettty, gameplay silky smooth & a decent story with destructible environments & excellent sound design!! Its not the most original game ever but its cute enough & fun enough to make it well worth the money!!
