I should start by saying that the Fromsoft Soulsborne games are my favourite series, and I love playing similar games. With that said, Hellpoint had, without question, the best sense of exploration in any game I've ever played. There is so much hidden and obscure to discover, uncover and puzzle out, it kept me thoroughly enthralled through multiple playthroughs, across PS4 and Switch. Excited to jump in again on PC, and eagerly awaiting more news on the PS5-native version. Plus, devs are super nice, super approachable and have fantastic tastes in metal.
