Great surprice, very fun strategy game with strong character progression mechanics for your heroes and unique magic system. You build your cities, use your armies to fight infestations and oposing armies. Level up your heroes. Magic is based on unlocks, you have to research weaker spells to get to stronger ones. There are many victory conditions to choose from, you don't always have to clear out all enemies. Overall some of the singleplayer missions drag out a little, but the generic win conditions are setup well. You reach your peak and the game ends. There is a meta progression, where you unlock new options for your new games.
