So i just had to do this, as it was just too good to pass up. I get an email, with a special discount addressed to my username, like it was such a special offer just for me, to get this game cheap. It could not have been any more opposite! I have this game on steam, and hate it with a passion! This game has not one fun element to its name, even though it looks like it should. Some people are happy to play these sadism simulators, but i cant wait to see the genres join the dinosaurs. I would rate this worse than my hatred for the souls like genre, and I absolutely hate that genre. Bit of a self indulgent rant, but i just had to pick out the irony in the situation, given it felt like i was singled out with such an awesome offer, thinking they were acting cool, for a game i loathe. Appreciate the discounts but man, the ball was dropped from a massive height this time.
Why do people put themselves through this genre? I can't see how a game can be fun when all you are doing is dodging big bosses over and over a million times, dieing repeatedly, while trying to get pot shots in, all the while having to repeat the same enemies a hundred times over when you inevitably die to some bs hit you quite clearly dodged. The setting seems like a great idea, shame its ruined by this "souls-like" gameplay. I can't even remember what im supposed to do with all the death interruptions. It's not fun at all, it's a sadism simulator.
