I should clarify that I've never played the original Mafia game, nor am I that into the franchise. I got this game for free through amazon prime and thought I'd try it. The storyline is incredible. The characters are well defined and the dialouge is very good. The environment fits the 1930s very well, with an excellent attention to detail. My only complaint is about playing in fullscreen. I prefer playing games in Borderless windowed, but the only ways I was able to get the game to work without freezing was by either playing in bordered windowed, or in fullscreen with VSync off, which makes my game tear like crazy. Ended up just living with the tearing for my playthrough, but man it was annoying. Overall, the game is very good. The only problem I had with it is a problem that should be very easy to fix. 9.5/10.
