I’ve lived through all versions of MYST going all the way back to the beginning and I own and have played all of them. I was looking forward to this ‘remake’ just for the graphics but like so many remakes, they went to far. They should have been satisfied with higher resolution graphics and left the functionality of the animations and the characters alone!! This one missed the mark. I wouldn’t have spent the money had I known they wrecked the experience. Oh, and I discovered a bug in the first 5 minutes - when you first arrive on MYST island walk a few steps toward the submerged ship and step up onto the platform like you’re going to step off onto the ship. Now turn to the right and look at the main mast. See it?
