LSL Reloaded is more like a chore than fun. A lot of dialogues that are leading nowhere. You also have to get money. That's no problem; you save, play, and reload when you lose. Then you have to constantly drive around in a taxi. That means calling a taxi, getting in, specifying your destination, enduring a short ride with a lame joke, opening your inventory, selecting your wallet, and paying the driver. The graphics and voice acting are good, and I like the humor. Maybe I shouldn't have hoped for a game equal to Larry 7 Love for sail.
Normally I would say that more doesn't hurt, but in this game it's too much. There are so many rooms, so many things to find, so many keys to look for, so many puzzles to solve that you completely lose sight of the story. Why do I have to open the door to this room? Why is there a part missing from every switch that I have to find somewhere else? I didn't feel like I was making any progress. At some point it became too much for me and I just wanted the game to be over. I liked the first part much better. Technically, you get a good atmosphere and nice graphics. I played the game on my laptop with onBoard Graphics on Win10 and it runs absolutely smoothly.
A mixture of a puzzle and hidden object game. Beautifully drawn graphics and a good atmosphere. Unfortunately, despite the generally very low level of difficulty, a hint appears after a short time telling you what to do if you get stuck for a few seconds. I have not found a way to turn this off. I bought it on sale and it was worth the money for me.
I found the game a bit boring, unfortunately. I was glad when I got through it. The puzzles are all extremely simple except for one, which was extremely difficult. The graphics are nice, the controls simple. Voice acting is good. But somehow the spark didn't fly.
I really like the adventures from Pendulo. Yesterday is a very good game with a great atmosphere and soundtrack. The help function really helps you if you got stuck. Unfortunately the game is way too short. When you click on something you get a description as text. It would be so much more fun if there were a narrator like in Gabriel Knight 1. The game ran perfectly on my Win10 Notebook, not a single technical problem.
Adventure from the same house as Runaway and it shows. The style is the same. Unfortunately, I didn't particularly like the puzzles, there was a lot of trial and error. The game is also far too short. It ran flawlessly on my small Win10 notebook, except for one bug regarding the car right at the beginning, where the game hung up every time a certain action was performed, so that a complete Windows restart was necessary. I can recommend it at a special offer price.
