Hours spent trying to set controls to something usable. A hour on the internet trying to figure out how the interface works to find an inactive mission. Hours spent on internet trying to figure out why I can't complete said mission. I understand games having a steep learning curve but this game is actually really badly designed to the point that it frustrates all your attempts to actually play it. Its not that its difficult to get into or that its particulary deep or that it has a steep learning curve. It's difficult because its badly made and badly explained. The need to watch hours of videos and trawl through forum posts to get a handle on the basics because the game cannot be arsed to do it, is a bit of a red flag. best avoided.

Horrible. Confusing word salad of a game. Dread game mechanics based on a dice pool system I suspect. It would be pretty easy to mess up a playthrough by not carefully husbanding this resource. Its a mechanic I am not a huge fan of. The world is some sort of weird SF/Fantasy smorgasboard of ideas and concepts that was simply bewildering at times. I felt completely adrift and not really understanding what was going on. Nor did I care to. In a story based game, if the story simply isn't engaging you on any level, then an experience like is would be a incredible chore to grind through. I simply didn't want to play this.

Dreadful controls. Dreadful AI. The main story is pretty average and not all that inspiring but what lets it down are the controls and the AI. You characters won't do what they're told half the time. They won't use abilities 50% of the time this includes spells. They have trouble following the leader and have a habit of wandering around in search of enemies, in other parts of the dungeon you haven't even explored yet. I had a tough job micro managing this and trying to keep things under control but I simply had had enough of the jank. I don't remember the original being this bad. Seriously this was bloody awful.

I have tried 5 times to get into this game. I have finally had to admit I really hate pathfinder as a system. I hate the way it tracks conditions. I hate its convoluted character creation system that focuses on min-maxing builds rather than interesting characters. I hate that there is an inventory bug that simply wouldn't let me leave the last camp because I was carrying too much of nothing. I really hate this game.

A good little rpg based on the 3rd edition rules. A decent story and well thought out combat. No baldurs gate 3, but what is? Well worth a punt if you have not tried this before.

Now I remember why I don't much care for playing old school tsr games. 1st level characters are way too squishy and easily taken out. The hassle of raising anyone means you save scumm a lot. The combat is almost relentless and gets boring after a while. The game is stable and runs well. Thats about all I can say about it. The rest of the game just on my nerves. Its no planescape torment, and that is a much better game.

This must be my third attempt to try this game. I just can't do it. I hate the combat system. I just don't like it. I also found the games tendancy to drop you into one combat after another to quite tedious. As for the story? who knows? I didn't play it long enough for it to develop into anything interesting. I think I will have to accept that this is not for me.

An excellent entry to the Alien franchise. Its now around 10 years old and it still looks pretty good for its age. It is tightly scripted survival horror and really manages to channel the tension and horror of the 1st film. The Alien is a truly terrifying opponent and trying to navigate various spaces in the station, while it is on the prowl is nerve wracking. Word to the wise. Play it on earphones, rather than speaker. You will not regret it. Play it in the dark for maximum effect...go on, I dare you.
