I am not a Monster: First Contact

I mean...

I've got mixed feelings with this game. I love it but at the same time it's not an easy game to like. I will start with the positive. · The concept is super fun. A parody of old 40s-50s sci-fi movies sounds amazing and it has a pretty good twist. · Gameplay is fun. It's a mix of puzzle + XCom strategy. If you came here just for an XCom kind of gameplay, you might not want to play this game. Same if you just want puzzles. I've seen people complain the game "wants you to do things in a certain way" and that's true, but it's part of the gimmick of it. It's just adapting to it, you have a variety of weapons and tools to help you. Just try not to use melee weapons as such, try to use them combined with a tool, they are far more useful. · The story is intriguing. To find out how the monsters appeared and how to solve the issue is amazing and catchy... at least during the first 20 hours · Multiple characters. This game follows the story of multiple characters that sooner or later start meeting or gathering. Some are great, others are a bit meh and others "oh my god, can I kill this guy already?" Negative: · The game is TOO long. I've just finished the game, only 48% of achievements and it took me 40 hours!! I'm not saying that as a whole is bad, but remember my point about the "at least in the first 20hs" thing? In the last chapter, the story gets too long, only once in my life I've felt a game is just making the story longer just to make me play (and believe me, I've played many Ubisoft games). When you think you're about to finish the game, you still have 20 more hours of game, and I got this feeling TWICE in this game · The multiplayer is dead. Imo, this game was first thought to be exclusively multiplayer. Some sort of Trouble in Terrorist Town / Town of Salem / Among Us but with XCom gameplay. It is clear they moved from that and worked on a story, a game that got so independent of it that the multiplayer became a free DLC, literally. I do recommend, just b patience

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine

FOR THE EMPEROR!!!

With the release of Space Marines 2 I thought playing this game for the first time I would feel it's outdated or junky. But nothing further from the truth. This game has all the elements Space Marines 2 is great for but on a lower scale. The story is, as usual, just an excuse to run around shooting and cutting orks in half in the name of the Emperor. If you are a first timer in Warhammer 40k and/or your PC can't run Space Marines 2, do buy this game (even better if on sale)

Tropico 4

El Presidente - The most awesome person

Easy to learn, with a short tutorial that teaches you the basics. The game guides you with the opinions of each faction so you don't need 10hr long tutorials to explain every single detail. It is not an easy game as you have to take care of many things at the same time, but it's not super hardcore.
