Space Hulk: Deathwing - Enhanced Edition - Deluxe

Solid game

This is a good game with great production value, but be mindful that it's very specifically designed to mimic the feeling of the Space Hulk board game - it's not a standard shooter, it's a shooter with a lot of slow-paced exploration involved. So the immersion is good but it can feel "boring" if you don't know what moving around in a Terminator Armor would feel like. Also, as a side note, it's worth mentioning that the multiplayer WILL NOT work if you lend your DRM-free version to a friend - they have to own their own copy, even on GOG, it seems. I tried to run a game with my son, and copied the game on his computer so we could play together, and for him the "Multiplayer" button just doesn't work - while for me it works no problem. No option to go LAN-only either. For this limitation I lowered my review by one start because it's not clear on the store page that this requirement exists.

Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector - T'au

Fair game but a bit janky

That game is alright, it's a good implementation of the Warhammer 40K spirit, units feel right, sound is what we expect, etc. It also scratches that "XCOM2" itch, in the very deep Warhammer universe. However the production value can be quite low sometimes, and the game can be a little bit janky (for instance it can be confusing having to click on an empty square to unselect a unit, instead of just clicking on the other unit - why the extra step?). Given the price, you can't expect a AAA game and so that's fine. But I would say this game, because of these little oversights (the jankiness and overall lack of polish) isn't even a AA game. It feels more like a indie game made by a couple of people who just got lucky to get access to the W40K licence. Maybe a follow up sequel will be more polished.
