Playing the game in 2024 for the first time, after reading the books. A great game with awesome first story arc (not progressed further at the time of writing these lines). The graphics scream mid-2000s :D, with all that is good and bad about it. Disliking the fighting system on "easy" difficulty a lot, though (but I'm a casual gamer that plays a few hours every month). The rest of the mechanics are still perfect, imho. Full recommendation.
Started the game with update 2.0 for real. This version: superb story (albeit nothing new if you like cyberpunk media), great world, good gameplay (cars do not feel great though, but that's a minor). Sidejobs are a bit repititive after some time. Crafting was more fun with the old system, one was able to build wickedly broken weaponry (but only played the old version a couple hours)
