A couple hours in. I'm really enjoying the game so far: 1. Gameplay through typing works really well and keeps some tension depending on your typing speed levels. 2. Story keeps you wanting to find out more. I like the way it's weaved in. 3. Artstyle is lovely. In a world where a lot of games look the exact same, this is a breath of fresh air.
Could not put it down. Saw this game and was skeptical but this is a GREAT metroidvania. - Controls are tight - Animations and style are great - Combat is really quite fun, never feels unfair - Characters are funny and you'll likely have a smirk throughout the game - Nothing feels wasted: most every power up serves a purpose and while there are a few collectibles, they all just... work. - Variety: Puzzles, new enemie types, bosses throw in just enough new elements to keep you on your toes - Story was really nice. I had a good time This is worth every cent.
