This game is lovely, I had a blast reading the story and serving drinks. I agree with the other comments that there is no challenge at all in the drink mixing mini game, however it was still pretty pleasurable to self-challenge making them the fastest I could. The characters are all pretty nice, the atmosphere is done great and the soundtrack is one of my favorites in a game ever. I will not say anything about any character or the story itself since I feel a lot of my enjoyment came from playing the game blindly (no information at all prior to buying). I bought this game after playing a lot of Persona 3 Portable, and I was one that really enjoyed the dark atmosphere and dungeon crawling from Persona. So far, I've played about an hour of Mary Skelter and it was enough for me to say that it is an amazing game. I also played Hyperdimension Neptunia from Idea Factory, and sincerely I was expecting a lighthearted game such as Neptunia for Mary Skelter, however I was very pleased to find that it was actually the opposite of a lighthearted game, it is as dark as a Shin Megami Tensei entry! For a few moments I could say that I was playing SMT and not an IF game. The graphics are decent, nothing spectacular, but I wasn't expecting it to be. The artstyle is nice, fits the game in my opinion. The gameplay is what you'd expect from a dungeon crawler. Alice and Jack are awesome main characters. The plot is dark, and it's awesome, at first I thought they were going to skip the backstory, but it is being slowly presented and I'm enjoying it. At last the soundtrack fits perfectly to the plot. I will update this review in the coming days, after I put a few more hours into it, but believe me, this game is so good that I decided to type a recommendation with just a single hour in.
Sincerely, anyone who bought this game and wasn't thinking about the hentai scenes is plain out lying. This game is explicitly about that. However, what I did find out while playing was that I started getting more interested in the game itself than in the nudity scenes. I mean, I really did enjoy the first one I got - Aiko best girl - but what made me keep up playing was the match 3 gameplay. The characters conversations are silly and fun, the "VN" system is pretty nice and the match 3 game is simply awesome, I started to get really strategic to beat the late levels.
