Return to Castle Wolfenstein is one of the best games ever developed. RealRTCW allows newcomers to enjoy this masterpiece without the hassle of downloading a source port. I think this mod is great, but my only complaint is that I don't like the AI-upscaled textures. I do not mean to be harsh, but they are not exactly "high quality" textures. Overall, I believe you should try this mod if you want to get into RTCW.

This was the first computer game I ever owned. I still occasionally return and finish the entire game. Regardless of its age, this game is extremely immersive. I have very fond memories of playing this game, and I still remember almost all of the dialogue to this day. Unfortunately, the game's original publisher has tarnished the Operation Flashpoint name. I remember being so disappointed with Dragon Rising that I didn't bother playing Red River. This game possesses a magical quality that cannot be replicated, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. The game's name may have changed to ARMA: Cold War Assault, but it will always be remembered as Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis.

I went into F.E.A.R. 3 expecting it to be terrible, but I ended up thoroughly enjoying it. I would argue that this game very overhated in my opinion. Sure, it's a little different when compared to the first two entries in the franchise, but it still contains that essence that makes it a F.E.A.R. game. If you're curious, I recommend giving this game a try, but if you're worried about not liking it, buy it when it's on sale just in case.

F.E.A.R. 2 is a fairly good sequel. It retains the first game's signature gameplay style, with a few minor changes that I don't mind. The story is excellent, as expected from Monolith Productions. I'm still a little disappointed that Monolith chose to retcon the expansions from the first game, but I understand the reason for it. While I understand that this game is not as well-regarded as the first, I believe you should give it a chance if you're fond of Monolith's work.

F.E.A.R. is one of the best first-person shooters I've ever played. I had an absolute blast playing it! There's nothing more satisfying than blasting a soldier to pieces with a shotgun in bullet time. The expansions are also very exciting to play through. It's unfortunate Monolith retconned them... Before you play, you'll need to download the EchoPatch to fix performance issues, hud scaling, and a variety of other issues; once that's done, you should be good to go. I also recommend visiting PCGamingWiki for any additional tweaks you might need. If you enjoy a good shooter with a twist of horror, F.E.A.R. is the game for you.

Deus Ex is an incredible spiritual successor to System Shock and one of the best video games of all time. You may need to install some patches to fix bugs and other issues, but it should work fine out of the box. If you haven't played this game yet, I highly recommend you do.

The original Resident Evil 3 is an intense yet enjoyable game. It's also probably the most difficult in the franchise, so new players should start with the easy mode to get a feel for the game. While playing, I was shocked to see how much content was cut in the remake. To be honest, newcomers to the franchise should stick with the original; the remake feels watered-down in comparison. If you haven't already tried the original, now is your chance. Thank you, GOG, for re-releasing this classic!

It's wonderful to finally be able to play the original version of my second favorite Resident Evil game. I actually think I prefer the original RE2 to the remake. I'm not saying the remake is bad; I just think that, given the amount of content that was removed or altered in the remake, the original is the superior and intended version to play, even if the remake does some things better. That's enough rambling; if you haven't played the original RE2, now's your chance. Thank you GOG for making this a reality!

Wow! What a game! There is nothing like a good WWII shooter. I created a GOG account specifically to play this. The gameplay is very similar to the first Call of Duty. It's also very hard on higher difficulties, so if you're new to the game, you might want to start on easy. My sole issue with this game is that there is no proper widescreen support. You have to do some configuration to get the game to fit your monitor resolution. PCGamingWiki is useful in situations like this. Aside from that, the game is excellent, and I highly recommend it if you enjoy old-school FPS games.
