Silent Hill 4: The Room

My 4th Favorite SH Game

Believe it or not, the original Silent Hill and Silent Hill 3 are my favorites. Both of which I would call masterpieces. I love the deviations of Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 4. Although, I will say Silent Hill 2 is probably my favorite of the side stories, I really, really like Silent Hill 4. I'm not a fan of the whole second half, but in all honesty once you get past a certain point in the second half it becomes the creepiest game and has the coolest ending (depending on which one you get). I also love how the antagonist is directly tied to SH2 but the game doesn't take place in SH. 4/5 for a tacked on but not terribly annoying second half. Still, it's the last great game in the original SH universe. Note: I have not had any problems running this game or noticed any glitches/errors.

Double Dragon Trilogy

Flawed Release

The Double Dragon games are some of the best fighting games around; unfortunately, this release does not do the series justice. There are just too many flaws. The game's intro scene is completely absent from Double Dragon 3. And there is no title screen for Double Dragon 1 or 2. The continue screen is cryptic, and there are several bugs (it appears the endings issue has been fixed as of this writing). This release is bringing nothing new (but something less) to the table. Hopefully, with some updates, these issues will be resolved.
