While not as tight as the original 3 and despite some annoyances that appear mainly in the second half, Silent Hill 4 tells a great and interesting story and contains some of the most striking horror imagery not just in the series, but the entire genre. Full of suspense and scares and scored beautifully by Akira Yamaoka. Well worth giving it a chance to experience its many qualities. Learning how to make your way through the game is highly rewarding and you may even find yourself drawn to room 302 once again sometime in the future...
