I'm not a point and click die-hard, so I didn't go into this with any expectations around what it "should" be like. I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of the characters and the quality of the writing, there are some really neat ideas embedded into the universe (my favourite one being people infecting themselves with cosmetic diseases that are easily curable as a kind of degenerate future recreation). I see some reviewers mentioning an "SJW agenda", I think they might just be sweaty idiots who don't like that this game has some LGBT characters in it who are just living their lives.
