If you know anything about 3DO you'll know this game was made in a few weeks and extremely rushed. Levels are way too easy, copy paste sound effects at best or really low quality ones at worse. Compared to Army Men 2 this game is a massive step back which is a shame because it could have been great. It also runs HORRIBLY on modern systems.

Love this game. The music, worldbuilding, and atmosphere. Game was way ahead of its time and still a joy to play today.

Where to start? My jaw was dropped (in a bad way) the entire 24 minutes I played this game. This game is genuinely shocking. For starters there is no V-Sync screen tearing is abundant in a game from 2021...yikes. On top of this there are hardly any video settings at all, resolution settings don't seem to work either. The game advertises over 200 ships...yet it seems you can only use 10 of them at a time. Despite being the GOG version the games hidious UI has an option to 'delete Steam data'...this isn't Steam. Ok. Alot of the ships don't have noise when firing. At all. Music is minimal. Much if not all the 'voice acting' is A.I. which I mean...I don't even think that should be allowed. It's not like this game just came out either like I said it originally released in 2021. On top of all this the developer advertises on the store page that the game is 'self funded' yet begs for money on Payapal/Patreon in the bottom left of the screen every time you boot it up. There is something seriously wrong with a $20 unfinished indie game begging for money like that especially on GOG. I come to this platform to avoid the constant 'give us more money' buttons that so many modern games have. Gameplay wise this game is basic. It claims it's complex but really there isn't much to it. Sure the ship designing is a thing but at the end of the day the only real strategy is spam the unit create button and watch your ships slowly fly to the enemies and then watch the colorful explosions. No sense of impact, no real depth, and not much strategy aside from resource management. If this game came out in 2007 maybe MAYBE I could look past that basic gameplay and call it an OK product but for a modern release it is simply just shocking.

Cool game world but the more you play the more broken it gets and the less content there is. No excuse for this. Game was in development years before 2022. As I write this devs are still adding in basic features that were present in older games.

I love Stalker. I love Stalker 2...but it just does not work sometimes. Performance issues aren't AS bad as people say, I am running it on a rig just above minimum requirements and it runs at a generally solid 30fps outside of areas with loads of NPCs but there are a few quests that straight up do not work and I'm only about a third of the way through the game from what a friend tells me... There are also alot of visual glitches and A life doesn't work. I get why they had to release it now but they need to do some critical patches and fast. Really hope they push said patches to the GOG version too as I know some developers neglect GOG. There are also alot of missing things from previous games such as binoculars, night vision, mutant looting and from what I can tell alot of the guns (particularly pistols) are just not there. Seems kind of half baked. I would gladly change my review to four or possibly five stars if these things get adressed.

I LOVE this game. However there are a few glitches that never got patched namely if you take damage while holding the pistol theres this really weird animation glitch that happens pretty much every time. It's annoying and I don't know how the devs haven't fixed this.
