AMID EVIL

Overall great journey

Tihs game has most pluses: great music that changes inside one level, great levels that are diffenrent even inside them but are sticked to the main theme of dungeon. This game has great hard fightings that are completeable. Minuses: bosses are easy, quick load can make you fall down and no multiplayer. Much games likes to be realistics. The main line of this game is to be maximally unreal and has beauty in it, as much as possible.

Don't trust positive reviews

Pluses: * Good music on most levels * Hard enemies * Pathfinding Minuses: * The same shooting scarios are going over and over from one level to another. Barely you will be gifted with someting new. Ocasionally, not so fast as you wish. * Even after correcting brightness and contrast I feel hard to find most enemies. * Much enemies will be on long and very long distance. You have no zoom nor sniper rifle. * Canalisation with 4D effect and inside feeling. Also with music that can bee played with you ass. And with poo enemies. * Pathfinding is often harder than you even could believe. For example on one level you will need to go inside the atomic electrostation mechanism and swim through the rotating elements to get to the next part of level. * Most of enemies will automatically catch you and crosshair in blink of an eye. Even those who are on long distance and barely seen. * Some enemies are absolutely dumb and will go to doors and stuck in them, won't see you staying some metres around. But there arent much of them. * Game is hard from the beginning. * You will have hard lack of ammo. * Game uses 256 MB of video memory and can't use more. That's why it will lag in some parts, especially when fighting with boss on the roof of institute. * There are much ammo and health packs that are hard to find. But people who made game think thats it's kind of 'hmm, yeah, whatever but not a secret'. There are much secret zones that are hard to find. You will need to jump on barrels, thashcans, etc. So don't brake them at first. * Most enemies need 2 HEADSHOTS IN A ROW to die. * Scorpions are very very powerful and can FLY and are shooting 6 rockets one by one with extreme accurancy. In much places you haven't place to run away from them.

Очень приятная игра

Очень рекомендую. Во всех отношениях приятная игра. Немного хуже игровой процесс, чем в первой части, но в целом мне весьма понравилась. Не верьте тому, что пишут про то, что плохой потомок первой части. Потомок хороший, однозначно хороший.

Maximally frustrating

Don't trust good reviews. The gave is overall made no so badly but it's maximally frustrating and will bring you despair, sandness and sickness. Also it's easier to find a secret room than where to go next. Also it's monotionc: you will hear the same sounds thousands of times and fight with the same monsters again and again. Not much bosses in game. Not much variations of the same enemy type. One star for qualified soundtrack, one star because the game is playable and passable.

Resonance

One puzzle killed it

Overall nice at the start nice combination of magic and reality, acting together. most solutions are logical. But puzzle with boxes and printing the document is extremely hard. You need to draw 22x26 boxes (as I remember) to correctly select the one. And you can't use the solution because the position it randomly selected at the start. I'm not really close to quest to say that I'm fan of them but this puzzle with boxes is more than extremely frustrating and looks worse than hard work.

Best scenario/Bit of frustrating puzzles

The quest takes part in Andergast after the first game Dark Eye: Chais of Satinav. The main interesting thing about the story that the main part keeps continuing in the past. And the story is not yet finished. And you need to make this story happen. The main riddle about the scarab you will understand fully only after the last cut-scene. Don't even try. If you still don't get it, ask youself: who from the characters looks like a scarab? What's strange: German game wihout German sounding. What's frustrating: puzzle about statues and Nuri in the beginning which is not logical enough. You just need to select hardest variant from all of them but it's not really logical quest but clicking the combinations one. Puzzle with floating crystals and fighting with main enemy. And with objects in the room also in in this part of game. I checked the solution to the game and still don't get this puzzle. It's not Enstein principe like a puzzle with masks of the elements and naming them. I tried to figure out about allowing objects to be near and only figured out that on the upper floor torch is always on the left and it can't be near nothing. And the number of possible solutions varies to 9 I guess and it's not logical but looks like you just need to freakin' click all the possible solutions. Her voice is slow which makes this room extra frustrating. Also sending memories to amazons was frustrating but colorful and looked like innovation.
