This game is definetly one of the best turn-based strategy games ever created. Its as unrelentingly fun as it is violent. Which by all means is a good thing. Once you get used to the controls (which could take some time) you'll have a blast and you'll keep coming back for more.
I never played any of the original Descent games but when my parents got me this game I loved it from the first minute. The dogfights with robots and the ground to air assaults have never been so satisfying in a FPS have never been so much fun since Fury 3. If you don't like having a plane with a flame-thrower you have issues.
