Cyberpunk 2077

Still buggy as hell

I can't say much about story line, as I've bought this game few days ago. I can however say something about gameplay(25-30 hours in game already). CP77 is still buggy beyond imagine. I've jumped into this game, hoping that all negativity from realse has been fixed. Oh, boy. I couldn't be wrong. I play on PC, all settings 100% Ultra+, 70-80 FPS and I can't say that this game looks breathtaking. Streets are empty with cars, bugs are appearing left and right (for example I've fallen into a water with my car, and as i was trying to exit it, animation on my character got stuck and I had to accept my death). My heart is broken as i write this, but to be honest - this is absolutely average gameplay for todays standards (I'm not talking about storyline!). Is it fun? Yeah, kind of. Should you buy it? Sure, but only on heavy discount.

Becastled

Cool simple game, but

Although very repetitive and simple, the game is enjoyable. Overall, this is a city builder and you are under attack every night and have to defend yourself. The longer you stay, the harder it gets. But the biggest problem, and a really serious one, is performance. After 25-30 days, the city grew and the number of attackers increased. FPS dropped to 10 or EVEN LESS. For such a simple low poly game it's just makes no sense and it ridiculous.

Lovecraft's Untold Stories

Old style rougelike in pure form

Reading most reviews i feel some people were expecting different game and review it for what it is not. Let me put it simple in few points: 1. Rougelike - you die = you start over (in most cases). If You want to play this game, find some time first, as You are not able to just jump in and off as You like. That's how old rougelikes work. Deal with it :) BTW. You die a lot, often - not only from combat tho. 2. There is little info and little help. Lots of information about, for example secret rooms and how to find it i had to google. This could be improved a bunch, but it is not. (You have to press E near wall to find secret room. Blood leading to wall is a tip). 3. Game is tough and controls are somewhat demanding, but after 2-3 hours of gameplay i get used to it and it's OK. 4. Music and general feeling of game is really good. If You don't like pixelart, don't buy it. If You love Lovecraft or Mythos, You'll probably like what game offers. 5. There are two types of currency - money and info. Traders are in secret areas (which has it's charm, but it should be improved imo). 6. There is no traveling. After You leave You can't go back. There should be info about it even at start of the game! This should be improved. After all i really like the game. It requires some time to understand how it works, but game is stable and well done. Pixelart is amazing, game challenging as it should be. Don't quit after dying (if You do, then this game is far from what You want to play). I really hope they will add more content, maybe some DLC. IMPORTANT NOTE: read FAQ of the game, created by authors on steam discussion. It clears a lot of things and questions. Have a nice time playing game :)

Necropolis: Brutal Edition

NO MULTIPLAYER, but - fun, die, again.

NO POINT OF BUYING IF YOU COUNT ON MULTIPLAYER. I would like to give 5 stars, but i can't. I should give 3 stars, but GOG game ver. is rough so i will be too for GOG team (not that i don't like them - rather opposite). FIRST OF ALL - On GOG there is NO MULTIPLAYER so far... Look it as realistic as possible. Multiplayer is essential to get 100% joy out of this product. It was made for it. Devs probably won't give it go GOG team soon, because multi-DRM-free version could kill this game (piracy). So there you go. What i don't like, really - and it makes me angry - is that GOG's Necropolis ads suggest that there is in fact multiplayer - it is a lie. This is why i give 2 stars instead of 3. What i do like is game, it is really great. Humor, difficulty (spark of Dark Souls), it's fast, etc. Game in general deserve AT LEAST 4 stars, but without multiplayer and with lies on GOG in ads i give 2. Graphics is a matter of taste - i like it as it is. I didn't find major bugs in game (little with AMD based PC, like mine). From time to time it is confusing where to go next to proceed. Combat is hell of a fun. Enemies are subtle cheaters but it's OK. Said it before - i will say it again - THERE IS NO MULTIPLAYER ON GOG ver. Game in general is like: fun, die, start again, fun, fun, die, die, start again, fun, die, uninstall, wait, no fun. install, fun, fun, die, start again, fun...
