I really want to like Control, the aesthetic is great, the SCP anomalies are fun, but it's like the game doesn't want me to play it. I keep finding dead leads, quests that are added to my log but I can't complete. I'm often forced into fights where I'm running out of ammo or energy. The upgrades are extremely boring stat increases, and enemy design is really uninspired. The setting has so much potential, but I find myself constantly frustrated with the gameplay.
