I am unable to stop playing this game. In spite of the fact that the game is linear, you can't make you character and other Bethesda competitives. You are able to customize your character, get into and out of trouble, be a villain or the knight in shining armor. The graphics are splendid, although buggy and you have to balance the view and performance, it wasn't a problem for me. The sword fighting is fun and so is being a theif! I'd say the biggest down to this game is sometimes the response options you are given are NOTHING like what you feel like your character would choose and sometimes what he says is foolish compared to how you've been playing. Second biggest is that stealth kill isn't actally stealthy. The biggest up is the sandbox approach to the game WITH deadlines for certain missions, even main storyline missions! It keeps you on your toes while also allowing you to immerse yourself into another place and time, enjoying a culture nearly forgotten. OH, another down is that when the monks sing the creed in latin, its incomplete and fails to mention the biggest reason for Christianities powerful spead Jesus Christ. Though I doubt many people will notice it. The Our Father (Pater Noster) is accurate though. My advice? Buy the game, I highly doubt you regretting it.

This could be a great game but I've got it on the EASIEST setting and am getting killed just walking down the block! The first friggin level should not be so dang hard. I am going to have to delete this game since I truly want to play it but am unable to get anywhere in it, what a shame.
