This game is not for the unwashed masses. The overly complex meta-narrative will simply frustrate all those that are incapable of looking beyond the windows blue screen. The bravery of such decisions as to program in bugs, in a game entitled "broken world" astounds me to this day. A must play for fans of Obsidian games, and for all of us readers out there that get constantly disappointed by the drol game-like functionality of most modern "releases."
It is a rare occasion, in these days, in which a game is so exquisitely crafted that it exposes some new aspect of the human condition. Jack Keane 2: The Fire Within is the pinnacle of these games. In these days in which video games are aaa(ss) trash for the masses, it is a great replenishment to the soul to know that the western canon is still growing. Buy this game or stop pretending your opinion matters when it comes to the past, present and future of our medium.
