Cyberpunk 2077

Released, Day 1 patched... What now?

The game still runs like junk on an RTX 2060 S. Bugs happen frequently. Frame dips all over the place. We supposed to wait a year for the game to be playable?

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game + Expansion Pass

Good story, terrible game.

The Witcher 3 has a terrific story, great characters, amazing graphics but all that doesn't make a game, it's the gameplay that truly matters, and the gameplay is crap. First, there's the movement, Geralt handles like a rusty school bus. He constantly walks into corners and gets stuck in doorways, it's ridiculous how hard it is to move around, especially indoors. The Witcher 3's movement is comparable to Assassin's Creed Unity, and it's with the bad framerate! And don't even get me started on Roach, not only is he an annoyance, he's also broken. Roach stops randomly, gets in your way in fights, and spawns in the worst places, were the programmers that incompetent? Then there's the combat, it's simply awful, yet there are people left, right and center praising it like it's revolutionary, and I can't see why, you have no control over your attacks, it rarely targets the guy in front of you, it always aims for the guy behind, nearly every time there are two enemies parallel to Geralt, without fail. Another major malfunction it has is that you can't choose how to attack, most times, your light swipes take just as long as your heavy blows to execute! You merely click the left mouse button and Geralt does a mid-air somersault or spins around like he's drunk! By the time he's done doing ballet, the monsters would have already squeezed in a strike, eaten supper and taken a nap! There are also latency issues with attacking, not cuz of framerate or anything tho, but cuz the developers value animation over responsiveness, it's from light hits to heavies to drawing your crossbow to even casting signs. Just because something is challenging doesn't mean it's automatically good! I finished the game on DM, only to get my money's worth, as the gameplay is painful but at least the story and characters are a solid reason to push thru. CD Project Red should go in the movie industry instead of making games, cuz their writing is great, but they totally suck at game mechanics.
