No Man's Sky

Great game, no issues whatsoever(-ish).

In a world, ruled by gamers moping about game performance and making Tumblr pages where they cry about their agonizing experiences, No Man's Sky is a very welcome escape. The player enters a vast universe full of undiscovered planets where one can amble around, mine for fish, chat with the "locals" and feed and document the animals. Once in a while, you will be attacked by a weird looking creature and if you kill it, you may be attacked by a guard drone. Yes, NMS would not start for me as well, but my problem was that my graphics card was simply too old. I got a slightly less older card for a tenner (which also did not meet the minimum specs, btw), set the graphics quality accordingly and the game started up without a glitch. So, in accordance to a TL;DR standard; If you are looking for a 8K, Michael Bay-pewpew kind of game, carry on and buy yourself another game. Take your loss and stop whining about it. If you are looking for a quiet exploration "hey what's this, let's poke it" game, go get. Specs: Intel Q9200, 6Gb DDR3, AMD Radeon HD7850 1 Gb
