I played only standard edition and it was great. I can imagine how good are other versions, but that is for some other time to check
People here often forget to mention that this game is first in franchise, that AC2 is another step in franchise,and that doesn't mean that this game is bad. If you look this game from perspective of 2018 or 2012-yeah-but you must think about this game from angle of player from 2008...
