Bought this for my daughter (8) and myself. Equal parts emotional, beautiful, educational and sometimes horrifying. Puzzles didn't prove too much of a challenge but the story and beautiful animation and narration by sir Patrick Stewart kept me moving forward. It was an enjoyable experience throughout and just the right length. The ending brought tears to my eyes. Even though it is suitable for kids I would suggest that you stay invested in your child's playthrough due to the heavy subject matter and some of the more difficult puzzles. Adults can truly enjoy this piece for it's artistry and nuanced take on WW2. For kids it can be both an educational experience and a challenge.
An engrossing horror point-and-click adventure that's more about the story than the puzzles. I absolutely loved it through its faults. There was one or two sections that didn't add much and some of the voice acting and sound quality could have been better. I recognize it was never meant to be a game for everyone or a game with extensive replay value. But if you are interested in games as an art form and would enjoy a mature emotionally resonant story, I think you'll find that The Cat Lady will make for a satisfying and memorable experience.
