It's about 4 to 5 hours long, might need a little internet help to get things moving along in spots, but as an experience it's amazing. It's different and engaging. Watch Spoony's play through on Youtube and if you are hooked on Spoony by the end, you'll come running here to play the game and have lots of laughs.
I played Grandia II on Dreamcast when I was a kid. Got it for $30 new out of a clearance bin and it quickly became my favorite game. I signed up on GOG just for a chance to play it again (RIP childhood Dreamcast). My expectations were pretty high coming in and I was not disappointed at all. I have a blast playing around and upgrading my spells and attack. Hard mode is great, but you may need to put limits on yourself on how often you use the "Recover" option in the save portals. Being a little bit busier in my adulthood (just a bit) a game with lots of save points is appreciated. Grandia II is easy to pick up and put down, even though I don't want too.
