I have played Farcry more than just about any game I've ever owned. Sure, graphically it has been out-done by later generations of games, i.e...Crysis etc, etc. However, for $10.00 if you've never played this, or even if you have and want a copy that works easily with Win 7 with minimal fuss...grab this title up! This is on my wishlist and I will be picking this one up for myself, for that exact reason...plus my disc seems to have vanished somewhere during my recent house move.
Never having been even interested in this game, seeing it on half-price sale here on GOG I decided to give it a shot. Truly, even with the good reviews I was totally surprised by how pulled into this game I have become. It has a few quirks that bother me, such as the clunky point and clic fighting style and some of the character models could be improved and more varied, but the story and the game's background is amazing. It pulls you in and never lets go! Looks like I'll be trying Witcher 2 now :)
