Don't believe the reviews that say that New Vegas is better. This is Fallout. New Vegas was crap, dumb plot, dumb corridors and limited gameplay. This one, however has everything fallout had. Sure, the plot itself isn't very original but it's everything on the side that makes it so interesting. They found a way to have the random encounters by putting stuff out of any road you should be taking...you do randomly come across fun/weird/dangerous stuff but not in a way that makes you not want to wander around a bit. In NV, if you wander around, you're dead. Simple as that. And they really got the tone right and the atmosphere of the fallout games. Classic game.
Yet another buggy mess with cool ideas but ultimately unfinished and unbalanced. If you like your fallout with corridors (army of deathclaws west, army of mutants right), then you'll love this! If you like your fallout like 1, 2 or 3, then you won't. It sucks.
