...it's not worth that price. It might even not have been at the time it was released. There really is nothing special about it and you'll probably ever spend only like one hour or two playing it and never touch it again.
Don't buy this game, you WILL be disappointed. I thought it was a great fun old school platformer with new ideas. It's not, the controls are horrible (no air control ? WTF, i mean...really ? We're not in 1980 anymore you know). There have been some really great indie platformers recently like super meat boy, and even old heroes returning like rayman. Those games were great. This one isn't. If you're a masochist and like painfully hard games that makes no sense, has very bad controls (why all the keys when you could do all that with only 2 ?), no air control, poor music (very short loops), well feel free to try it. But i'd advise trying a demo first, which i didn't do and regret now. I bought it when it was 5$ and i'm really disappointed. I wish i didn't buy it. It's not worth 5$.
Don't bother, there's a reason why this game is famous, and it's because it's really bad. It wasn't worth its price back in the day, and it still isn't. Of course, it isn't as bad as some other games, but does that mean you should buy it ? No. Not at 5,99$. Maybe if you found it around 1 or 2$, i would rate it higher, but keep in mind you won't have fun with the game. I'd rather recommend playing good old quake II instead, or really any other good FPS.
