This is a great expansion. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. And yes, having a single NPC that is trans is a nice addition. Ignore the haters; if something that small offends you, you should reevalate your life.
This is one of the greatest games of all time, but not here. Even compared to other vendors, the GOG version is extremely unstable, frequently crashing to desktop and having persistent difficulties whenever a cutscene appears. I've played this game from different (modern) sources, and this particular offering is something to avoid.
Surprising good story and fun combat... most of the time. Controls are delayed even in a best case scenario, and targeting is extraordinarily difficult. Enemies, even mooks, also make a habit of stunlocking you, and the time Starkiller takes to stand up again is frustratingly long. All this is made ten times worse in boss battles, which changes the camera perspective on you to a distant zoom that makes it nigh impossible to see clearly what you're doing and messes with your ability to move. The Star Destroyer destruction segment, which should be amazing, bogged down my computer to a crawl (so I died a lot), it's long and repetitive, and the directions are clear as mud. It was enough to make me quit the game. Sadly, I cannot recommend this game.
