REALLY!? 30 min to beat?
Just a terrible game because it's completely broken. I couldn't craft many items. Most of the items are required to survive. I couldn't craft penicillin. It kept stating there wasn't any room in my inventory. I eventually dropped everything except the mold and I still couldn't craft it because I still didn't have room in my inventory. So I died from an infection from ant bites. Absolute b u l l s h i t!
It wouldn't even install for me. It got to 2% and stated it couldn't reach the gog servers even though I was logged in to gog. I was looking forward to playing. This seems to happen a lot with gog.
What a janky mess. I just can't understand these reviews unless they're all fake. Not even worth it for the nostalgia. I found it impossible to play. The 3rd person perpective is atrocious. I'm constantly running into the camera with no idea what's in front of me. The controls are abysmal, both KBM and gamepad suck equally. There's absolutely no camera control. It just tries to follow behind the character with spectacular failure. When it manages to get behind the character, it jumps around erratically, many times in birds eye view showing the top of your head and the ground. Just as bad as running into the camera because you can't see what's in front of you. The map just confuses you more than you were. You have to micro manage your position to interact with anything, which is exacerbated by the crappy controls. I gave it an hour and I'm never going back. They should have optimized the controls and camera pov. First person perspective would have improved it immensely.
It feels as though this is a hate crime against Germans. Every character in this game is immorally bankrupt; a lying, conniving, evil thief. Every opportunity to do good is foiled with these characters. You are constantly fooled or forced into committing atrocities. The only mitigating factor is every atrocity is towards a terrible person. Who the fu ck would want to play this game. Who the fu ck made this game and why would they do this!? If the game ran perfectly and there was A+++ voice acting, plot, narrative, and perfect gameplay, this would still leave me wanting to take a shower and brush my teeth because it left me feeling dirty with a bad taste in my mouth. Irrelevantly, the game itself is, in every other aspect, a complete piece of sh it. You name it, they did it horribly and riddled with bugs. I regret the time I wasted giving this thing a chance. ZERO STARS.
BUYER BEWARE. This is a completely broken game. It does not run at all. It crashes immediately after launch. Google "Hitman Absolution will not start". This problem still persists as I can confirm as of June 15, 2022 (on steam eww I know I'm sorry). It used to work at some point and then didn't and still doesn't.
BUYER BEWARE. This port is completely broken. Gamepad controls don't work and keyboard controls don't work. The only way the game started was because it has a timer. The game crashed as soon as it started.
There are so many fake 5 star ratings for this game made just to keep it's overall score average. It's a ONE STAR GAME (if that). 5 star games are one of the rarest gems in the game world. We get, maybe, 2-3 games a year that deserve that title. Amazing works of art, like Red Dead Redemption 2, might get a 5 star rating. Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy would be another in contention for a 5 star rating. This game is definitely not a one of those rare gems that deserves such accolades. These morons would do better to make fake 3 and 4 star ratings to boost this turd. Some reviews are so fake it's hard not to cringe at their over-the-top praise. And if you're a real person that really felt this game deserved a perfect score, then you're a real child or you're a complete idiot and you need to grow up.
