Well, what can I say? I'm REALLY glad that at least one of Team Silent games finally made it to the modern systems, BIG THANKS to Gog-team and Konami. The port is really good, no lags, no "voodoo magic" with stability and widescreen, everything runs perfect here. The game itself is not really that scary for the horror fan, but it successfully makes the player uneasy by using some new in-game mechanics, that weren't in the previous installments, to keep him constantly on edge. And I must say it works perfectly. Team Silent always knew how to frighten the player without much gore'n'guts, but with more psychological aspects, The Room is no exception. Truly, it's not the best one out of the whole series but good enough to give it a try, at least. I hope to see more of Silent Hill games in the future (yes, SH 2&3, I'm talking 'bout you), but since there's some problems with their source code, maybe it's time to give a second wind to the HD Collection, please?
