A big part of what I like about RPGs is being able to create my own characters and inhabiting them. This game doesn't let me do that; there is no character creation and not even a choice between something as basic as male/female. Kind of a bad surprise when you give your character a feminine name, and he turns out to be a guy. It would have been nice to know that beforehand, and maybe this should be added to the description? I've made it a personal policy a while ago not to play RPGs that force me into a male protag, so this one's one for the recycle bin. Sorry, but if a dev just really casually forgets about half the population in this way (the way it asks you to name your character before you even see them - it's like it didn't even occur to the devs that some people might not want to play with a male protag), it's kind of sad. Why ask me to give the character a name, to begin with, if I don't get any choice about them?
