Its realy step up in major parts over 1st game. More variety in gameplay, Absolutely amazing graphics, sound quality was great i felt like im inside in that village. Both dramatic step ups. When it comes to Scariness Outlast would be 9, Alien Isolation 10 and this one strong 7,5. There is many scary moments, but Mount Asylum was crazy scary place. Story was better in 2nd. Story was great in 1st too but, you have to read a lot of documents to know what is going on. Outlast 2 you dont know what is going for a big part of the game, but later on you will slowly realise what is going and you will paint fine picture piece by piece and it sucks you in this game and whole story to know what will happen? People who say this game is frustrating should just go play minecraft... Game have tough enemies who wont give you break, but i didnt encounter any situation that i blame game design instead of my mistakes. Good heaphones is a must for added horror factor and to able to know your enemies positions. Gamers with great eye cordination, fast reaction and great headphones wont gonna have much frustration its just noobs who choose hard and above cry like babies and want it to be easy. Alien Isolation when i played 1st time it was a ton harder no comparison. Overall verdict - 7.8 Only thing next game developers can do is to give possibilities to fight enemies, not like be rambo or terminator, but dont be helpless, atleast be able pick single enemies. Bow or some stealth weapons would have been great additon to gameplay.
