In almost all pages there are many drawings mixed (eg: many versions of the end portal), or arts from different section of the game (eg: all the villagers houses in the same page) or a background with many different sprites (eg: a dungeon room with all the various frames for the death animation of a stone golem). Imho what's really missing is some more evocative full-page artwork (the forest at night? A fully upgraded graveyard?) to insert between a concept art and a here-are-all-the-sprites page. I mean, it's not bad, but after reading all the pages what's left is... Meh. Worth a buy on sale to further support the game devs.

Still have to finish it one time, but can't recommend it enough. Only negative: there's a lot of options for each level up, which means that I lose a lot of time when progressing

Spoilers will be clearly marked Let's take the good point first: the art is brilliant, especially the environment with all the various landscapes, and the voice acting really gives character to this game. The puzzles are also good, albeit they are almost all variations of the 15-puzzle, I found those very enjoyable. The stealth sequences and the QTEs are meh, but at least QTEs are skippable. Also, I suffered the lack of an icon that signal if there's a reality crack nearby: I ended up navigating with the imag always in hand. Also: unskippable end credits. Unfortunately, imvho point-and-click are as good as the story itself, and I found the story not good enough: for me the finale is very underwhelming, because it revolves around a concept I find veeery overused and that does not give justice to the rest of the game. [SPOILERS FROM HERE] [SPOILERS FROM HERE] [SPOILERS FROM HERE] I honestly think that a finale that leads to the "it was all just a dream of the main character" trope can stand up only if every mystery is tied up well before revealing... Otherwise it just "truncates" the hooks that fascinates the reader. And I find this is the case, here :-( [SPOILERS END] [SPOILERS END] [SPOILERS END] Only exception: if you are interested in *the life and the operas* of Jules Verne you might find this much more enjoyable, because I still recommend the game if on an aggressive sale, though: this made me think about purchasing Lacuna and Between Horizons: the gameplay is solid, and if these have more concrete plots the experience will be much better

Yes, I know it's 10$ for a game of 20 years ago, with all the things this implies (old graphics, clunky mechanics, etc). Fetch yourself some gameplay video, and have a look... However, mind this: there's a reason if this game lead its sequel to sell 1 million copies in two weeks.

I have more than 150hrs played in this game, and I can't recommend it enough. Yes, it's a bit buggy, and a bit grindy, but in my opinion is a fresh take on the "stardew-valley-like" genre, with a lot of content to explore. The only thing that really don't click with me it's the combat, but I'm giving 5 stars anyway because the rest of the game is *that* good.

This place should be used to review *THE CONTENT*. Only thing I see here instead are complaints about GOG allowing the producer to sell extra content, instead of offering it for free. Guys, if you don't want this content don't buy it, simple as that: putting it for sale means nothing if there are no buyers. Polluting the review section, on the other hand, is bad, you're literally griefing this section of site because you're upset, and you should be ashamed by that. @Staff: if you read this feel free to delete it, but please, take also a look on the others review of this product, and take your time cleaning what you feel it doesn't belong here. Thank you!
