It is so great, so many new campaigns, and other things... sad it was not available back then when game was released...
This game ( W2) is the reason I bought my first PC, and who Im now, and I'm still a playing games 30 years later thanks to those games.
I was playing this game in two phases... First I was playing demo, when it was released - and it was great, fun, innovate and rich. For some reasons I was not able to buy it that time. But it was on my list of games to buy. Some time ago, I dont know when exactly, but i must say it was about 8-10 years after I played demo, a found it in some second hand shop (or somwhere else - dont remember where, but it not matters now). And that day I was again plaing it on new computer, and still got fun time. Ok sometimes graphics was bad or better say: got old in the bad way. Artefacts, glitches etc. But I still got a lot of fun from playing it. The box with it still stands between my most loved games...
When this game was released, I wanted to get a WarCraft2, but my brother (who doesnt recognized games) bought this game for me instead. I was so pissed off, but when I started to play I didnt stopped until I beat the game. This game is great, it was beatifull in the time, when it was released. This and Dungeon Keeper 2, those are one of my very best games, together with WarCraft2, Fallout 1-2, Planscape Tourment... Damn I want to go back in time and again play it the first time...
Brilliant! I have spent so much time on this title... Now it is like a time-mashine to go back to 1997 (when I was playing these game). I had to chose between Warcarft 2 and this title. And many times Conquest had won the duel.
