For those who have images upside down (I did too) it's to do with how Win 8 works. Even with the Reb fix for my CD copy images would go upside down there too. Right-click on the game's Shortcut - Properties and change the combatability mode to Windows XP Service Pack 2. It righted all the images and discolourations for me. I love this game, playing it back when it first came out, I couldn't straighten my back properly for all the hunching over I did. Still doing it today with this game.
This makes me so happy, tearing through the galaxy again. I spent so many enjoyable hours in this game. Star Wars Supremacy/Rebellion next maybe?
