I bought the DOS version of HoMM in 1995 and played through tne campaign twice and clocked a couple hundred hours abd many sleepless nights playing this gem. I picked this game up recently when it went on sale and it's just as much fun as I remember from 28 years ago. Sometimes old games lose their luster when you try to recapture the magic you felt the first time you played it. This certainly wasn't the case for me when I started playing HoMM. Just a great game and the sale price is a steal!
