My only experience with Theme Hospital back in the window of its original release was playing the demo from a PC Gamer demo CD over and over again. Playing the full release in 2024, I can certainly say that the game retains its charm, and holds up in some ways quite well. However, it is tough to ignore how cumbersome and outdated the interface feels, and it does become a point of frustration at time. Still, a classic and well worth the low price it sells for these days.
