Take everything great about the first game, add terrifying new enemies, and sprinkle in choices that carry over into a second playthrough, and you’ve got a nearly perfect sequel. I say nearly because of the abundance of ammo and ink ribbons, deflating some of the tension. This may turn into a nonissue on Hard Difficulty or Arrange Mode though, so no big deal. A terrific experience that decimated any lingering doubts I may have had with classic Resident Evil.
