This game is a departure from the games I'm used to playing, though I don't spend much time at all playing any games anymore; but when I do, I tend to play Bethesda games, or Bethesda-like games. This game is good, it's difficult, it really challenges you to "get good" rather than just cheesing it the whole way through like you can with so many other games. It took some time to adjust, I wasn't convinced right off the bat by the gameplay, but the narrative and lore and worldbuilding is compelling enough that I stuck around long enough to realize I actually like this game! If you haven't played an isometric RPG like this in years, then I suggest you give this one a go, and if you play games like this all the time, then I'm sure this game will deliver what you're looking for! Worth it, for sure!!
