The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition

Quality follow up to the first.

Just completed The Witcher 2 and can say I was happy with the improvements in control, making this a much more enjoyable experience. Great story telling and stunning visual style make this a great 2nd chapter in the Witcher series. On to The Witcher 3!

STAR WARS™ Starfighter™

Pretty, pretty, pretty good.

Managed to complete this one a while back so my memory isn't fresh, but this was a fun shooter! Not amazing or 5 star, but solid and fun. Definitely worth adding to your shelf!

Hitman: Codename 47

Great OG game.

The original Hitman was one of my earlier PC games and I sunk many an hour into it. I have it here on GOG as a collectible more than a game that I'll play much but if you plan on playing the Hitman series...which you should, then start at the beginning! The wonky controls are worth it to enjoy a playthrough at least once.

Trine Enchanted Edition

Beautiful gem!

I originally tried this on my old Xbox 360 and also own it on Steam so it's been a fun game for me! I'm a sucker for side scrolling games with good environments and Trine delivers in this area. Completed the game with an old friend and thoroughly enjoyed it! It could have used more variety in enemies and bosses etc, but well worth the purchase and glad to have on the digital shelf.

THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2002

Something off with this one...

2 star game for me. I like the KOF games and SNK in general but this feels cheaply thrown together unfortunately. Always nice to collect the SNK titles but after a few playthroughs I moved on. Meh.

Assassin's Creed®: Director's Cut

The OG AC is not too shabby!

Not quite a 4 star game but definitely worth checking out. The design and graphic style are great but the game becomes a bit sluggish which made me lose interest after a bit. Still managed to complete the game and enjoyed it, but the animus stuff was dumb and took away from the story. It's currently the only AC on GOG so definitely grab this if you can.

Alan Wake

Almost a 4 star!

Sorry Alan Wake, as much as I love the setting and atmosphere, the gameplay became too repetitive to remain enjoyable. Solid 3.9 stars for the design and art direction but falls flat beyond that.

GUN™

Red Dead Redemption's Cool Uncle

I love this title and the old west! Compared to where RDR went of course it’s not quite on that level, but as a fun western based adventure it really hits the mark. Great settings, good gameplay and not too long (which I like) make for a great gaming experience. If your looking to scratch the wild west itch on GOG, pick this one up.

Double Dragon Trilogy

Yikes this stinks!

Nostalgia can't save this garbage. I managed to power through all 3 (on easy) but man it was a chore. The 2nd one is the best and the 3rd is almost unplayable it's so bad.
