I'm giving this game 5 stars and the reason is that it can be modded with a handful of mods from the NEXUS that changes it and makes it a different but way better game. If you don't know what that is it's the same website that you mod SKYRIM and FALLOUT 4 from, been using it safely for over a decade for both games, even the Skyrim Special Edition version, which is 64 bit, The Witcher 3, Oblivion, Dragon Age 2, and Fallout 3 to name a few more. There's 5x the Ultimate Balance mod, Unofficial Code Patch are two MUST HAVE mods for this game that just make it incredibly better in every way. I forget what the other 3 are but I use 5 mods total from the Nexus for this game and it's just great.
not even worth 5 bucks, I wouldn't take it for free. Try Warhammer 40K Gladius instead made by the same publisher, this game is just a waste of time and money. Don't bother, it's so rudimentary and amateurish, it's just not worth playing. You first city will bet polluted before you've even made your third mine, then you're going to run out of habitats, then you're going to have a riot, units move one at a time even in a stack and you have to shift click on every unit in the stack to move them as a stack and when you do they all move individually out of that stack into the new hex.....lol....It's just a horrible old game. Try Gladius, it's light years ahead of this mess.
This game needs an updated sequel more than any other game in the history of Sci Fi 4x PC gaming. It's a venerable old game, just as good as any Civ game but it got left behind in the dusts of time and it's as Ancient now as the Colosseum in Rome or the Parthenon in Greece. lmao It's just too damn old to play anymore, it's like a DOS or a Commodore 64 game. It's Pre-Windows XP. That's how old this game is.
IF you have a 27 inch monitor, a 2560x1440 do not buy this game, you will regret it. You can't read the fonts. Research it online as to how people go about it and you will come to the same conclusion as I have that this game is not worth the trouble involved and the solutions are half baked and unsatisfactory at best. Never pay 60 bucks for this old game, that is an outrageous price. The Developers have NEVER fixed the font problem and you can't even choose a resolution unless you go into the Startup.ini file and that turns it into a window and the fonts are still too small.
good graphics, cool mechanics, but a weak party and a bloated overpowered enemy to make up for lack of content.
