If you don't mind the faff undoing Bethesda's BS and downgrading (the FOL team have provided a convenient method to do all of it too), it is an increable mod, the size of a totally new game. For free content, the voice acting and story writing is on par with the base fallout, and from equipment to monsters to miscellaneous assets, there is a lot of brand new content (one of the things that stuck out for me is the ability to climb ladders and play several instruments, which is fully animated and is not present in the base game). The only possibly downside, is if you have an older PC, the game is very CPU intensive in many exterior cells. It is also so large, you will have to use a stripped version of the fallout.esm file to edit it in the creation kit (should come with the installer). It is honestly the most expansive, detail mod I have ever played for fallout or any game for that matter. 10/10.
